Farhampton

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER IS BACK!
So the season 8 of How I Met Your Mother is starting out with a bang.
and can I say, Cobie Smulders is positively beautiful in her wedding dress.
And can I say that wedding dresses with sleeves are really pretty,
Look at Drew Barrymore

Anyway, BACK TO THE HIMYM TRAIN!
The story follows exactly where we left off from the last episode.
SPOILER ALERT if you haven't watched the newest episode.

SPOILER!

But ultimately,
Lily and Marshall are turning into zombie-parents-hybrid.
They are exhausted from taking care of Marvin and in dire need of some sleep, or caffeine, or something.
Robin has a new boyfriend, Nick and he's hot. full stop.
Quinn and Barney are blissfully engaged when Quinn found out that Barney used to be Robin's boyfriend.
And Ted.. well Ted had positive reassurance from an unexpected source, Klaus.
Yep, the same Klaus that Victoria left to be with Ted.

In order to understand the conversation below, you need to know that
wunderbar = wonderful
lebenslangerschicksalsschatz =  life long treasure of destiny

Klaus: Victoria is wunderbar, but she is not my lebenslangerschicksalsschatz. She’s my beinaheleidenschaftsgegenstand…it means the thing that is almost the thing that you want, but it’s not quite. That is Victoria to me.
Ted: How do you know she’s not lebenslangerschicksalsschatz? Maybe as the years go by she’ll get lebenslangerschicksalsschatz…ier?
Klaus: lebenslangerschicksalsschatz is not something that develops over time. It is something that happens instantaneously. It courses through you like the water of a river after a storm, filling you and emptying you all at once. You feel it throughout your body, in your hands, in your heart, in your stomach, in your skin…have you ever felt this way about someone?
Ted: …I think so.
Klaus: If you have to think about it, you have not felt it.
Ted: And you’re absolutely sure you’ll find that someday?
Klaus: Of course. Everyone does eventually…you just never know when or where

And this happens with Band of Horses' The Funeral playing.
If you are looking for the one, this is for you.
You often hear in movies that the people who have found their "ones" usually say that they just know.
And I'm pretty sure that's how it is.
No matter how great you think someone is, if they don't have that ineffable factor.
You shouldn't be thinking of how great someone is.
You should know they are.

Anyway, the last song played on Farhampton:

So yeah, basically, this solidifies my love for HIMYM even more.
Til next episode!
