to Ombre or Not to Ombre?

I am in a dilemma.
Should I ombre my hair or not? :/
So basically, ombre hair is basically when your hair color gradually changes from dark to light.
The dark part of your hair should be on top and the tips should be light.

You get the idea.
But I'm not really sure whether it will suit me or not :/
